Why can't I gain access with NYT?

Why am I seeing a message about limited access to The Athletic?

Only New York Times All Access or Home Delivery subscribers are eligible to have full access The Athletic. If you are unsure what type of subscription you have, view your subscription type in the Subscription Overview section of your account.

If you do not have an All Access or Home Delivery subscription with The New York Times and would like to add The Athletic to your subscription, you can change your subscription to All Access or Home Delivery in your account.

Why is my account not recognized?

Only an email address attached to your New York Times account can be used to access The Athletic using the Sign in with New York Times option. You can verify the email address used on your New York Times account in the Your profile section of your account.
