PayPal and Google Play
If you would like to change your subscription plan, you will need to cancel your current subscription by logging into your Paypal account and/or the Google Play store.
Once your current plan expires, you can then reactivate and select a new subscription plan.
Please note: you will still have full access to your account for the remainder of your billing cycle, regardless of when you cancel.
If you purchased your subscription through Apple, you can update your plan type within your Apple account. Follow the below steps to change your subscription plan:
- Visit Settings on your iPhone or iPad > [your name]
- Tap Subscriptions
- Choose 'The Athletic'
- Select your preferred new plan
