Why am I seeing content from teams I'm not following?

Check your settings at theathletic.com/manage-teams. If you follow a league, then you will receive every article that is given the National designation from our authors. If you follow a vertical such as sports business, culture, or betting, you will receive any articles affiliated with those categories. Additionally, your feed is partially curated based on your selected region at theathletic.com/settings. Please ensure you have the region most appropriate to your preferences selected.
