When purchasing a subscription with Apple Pay, your account with The Athletic is automatically created under the email that is listed for Apple Pay purchases in the settings app on your device. Please note that this email may be different from the email associated with the iTunes Store or your Apple ID.
You can find your Apple Pay email in the Settings app on your device by tapping Wallet & Apple Pay and then Email.
If you cannot log in using your Apple Pay email, you can reset your password at theahtletic.com/forgot-password.
If you do not have access to your Apple Pay email, please contact our Support team at TheAthletic.com/contact-support and provide the email listed in your Apple Pay settings, the email that you would like your account to be changed to, and the last 4 digits of the card associated with Apple Pay for verification.
